1. Do a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit, and make sure all of the drivers are up to date.
2. Right click on Computer (Either on the desktop or under the start menu), then click Properties. Click on System protection, then click the Advanced tab. (Don't close out of the previous window) Click on the Adjust for best performance bullet. (All of the check marks should uncheck) Now click on OK. You computer should look basic and ugly. (Image is after step #3)
3. Click on the System Protection tab. Click on the Configure... button. Click the bubble by Turn off system protection, click OK, then click Yes. Click on OK to close out of the window. Close out of the system settings.
4. Right click on the Recycle Bin and click Properties. Click the circle beside Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Do this for every drive listed (one at a time), then click OK.
5. Left click on the Start button in the bottom left corner, the click Control Panel on the right side.
6. In the upper right corner click on the arrow next to Category, the click either Large icons, or Small icons. Click on Power Options. On the left side, click Change plan settings. Change Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep to Never. Then click Save changes.
7. Close out of all open windows.
8. Right click on the desktop and click Personalize.
9. Click on Screen Saver on the bottom row. On the drop down menu, click (None), then click OK. Close out of the open window.
16. Navigate to Programs towards the left. Go to Steam, press the letter C on your keyboard, then add it to your favorites. You can add Steam to the main menu by going to Settings > Appearance > Settings > Add-on (Shortcuts) > Add-on 1. Check 4:05 in the video (at the top of this page) if you have problems finding where to go.
17. Exit Steam. (Letter S on the keyboard will bring up the option, then hit select Exit)
34. Click the start button. Type in regedit. It is a blue cube looking icon. On the left side are some folders with + beside them. Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > SessionManager > Memory Management
35. On the right side will be a few blue and red icons. Look for ClearPageFileAtShutdown. Double click it, then change the Value data to 0 (Zero). Click OK, do the same thing for LargeSystemCache, then close out of Regedit. They might already be set to zero.

37. Change the extension from .txt to .bat (If you can't see the extension, open My Computer, click in the top left corner on Organize then Layout > Menu Bar. Then go to Tools at the top, and click on Folder options... Click on the View tab at the top. Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types, click on OK, then close out of My Computer.)

39. This file hide the taskbar. (Windows key still works) Go to the desktop, right click on HideTaskbar.exe, then click Cut.
45. Click the start button, type in Autoplay, then select it. Make sure User Autoplay for all media and devices is unchecked. Go through the list and change all of the actions to Take no action. Click Save in the bottom right corner, the close out of the settings.
48. Click on Change User Account Control settings, drag the bar to the bottom, then click OK.
49. Turn the volume up all of the way.
50. Right click on the desktop, hover over View, click Show desktop icons. The icons on the desktop should now be hidden.
51. Connect a remote/controller or do whatever else you need to do.

1. Move both of these files you the Downloads folder.
2. An error message will pop up stating that a settings file is missing and a new one will be created. Click OK.

29. Repeat steps #22-24 for the other drives. (If you have any)
30. Close out of My Computer.
31. Click on the Start button and type in Services. Click the gears icon.
32. Find Superfetch on the list. Right click it, then click on Properties. Beside Startup type is a drop down menu, click it. Select Disabled, then click OK.
33. Do the same thing again for Disk Defragmentor, Windows Search, and Windows Update.

3. In the bottom right corner (by the clock) will now be a grayish colored arrow, double click it.
4. Click on the Settings tab at the top, then click on Open log/settings folder.
5. This will open a folder. Cut and paste my config file to this folder - settings.ini
6. Close out of the program by right clicking the icon by the clock and left click again on exit.
7. Right click on PS3BluMote.exe (File downloaded from above -- in the Downloads folder), then click Send to > Desktop (create shortcut).
8. Go to the desktop, right click on the PS3BluMote.exe, click Cut.
9. Click on the Start button in the bottom left corner.

12. This will open a file manager. Double click on Programs, then double click on Startup.

16. Back on the computer a window should have popped up. Inside the windows will be a list of discovered devices. Click on BD Remote Control, then click on the Next button.
